I apologize for not being able to update anything that has been going on with us. I do have the excuse that we don't have Internet because our neighbors moved! Haha, I am currently using my phone's Internet and I can't be on here for long.
Christmas came all too fast and we weren't able to go home this year, but instead of having a blue blue christmas we decided to pack up our car and head out to spend time with my brother and his wife in North Carolina. It has got to be the weirdest Christmas, due to the lack of screaming children and many many family members, but it was also one of the most memorable.
We didn't exactly know what we were going to do for activities, which was fine for me. We ended up going bowling on Christmas Eve. So fun! I discovered real life bowling is a lot more tricky than wii bowling! I was horrible at it, never scored above 80. I do have to say that that was partially Mya's fault. :) I let her bowl a few times for me. As sad as I am to say this I think Mya actually scored better than I did on my own!
We ended the fun evening with unwrapping one present which happened to be...PJs!!!
Christmas moring we woke at 5:30. It was dark and the feeling of magic was in the air. We hurried and shook oursleves awake as best as we could as we went into Mya's room. I gently shook her shoulder and whispered "Mya, wake up, it's Christmas!" She moaned grumpily and turned away from us. I couldn't believe that any child would refuse to wake up on Christmas, let alone my own child! I tried again, this time using different wording. "Mya, guess what? Santa came!"
I was rewarded with her head snapping up to attention, "HUH?!" was all she said before scrambling out of bed. We then headed out of her room and towards the living room which held the magic of Santa. As she came upon the special toy that Santa had left for her I heard her small intake of breath. She knelt down very slowly, in awe that Santa had brought her what she had asked for. She didn't move to touch it, but just stared in wonder. Finally I asked her, "What did he bring you?"
"A Rapunzel doll, the tiny one, with long hair," she whispered back as, finally, she reached toward it.
The rest of Christmas day was fast. She unwrapped present after present becoming more gleeful with each present she received. She got tutus, dolls, cool light up shoes, books, a castle for her dolls, and so much more! This is probably the best Christmas yet! Even being so far away, we were showered with love from our families. We give thanks to all who remembered us, you are in our hearts and we can't wait to see you again!
The rest of the week past all too quickly. We played games, put together one puzzle, the rest were too hard to do! We celebrated Mike's birthday by taking family pictures! That wasn't it, we did have cake and sing to him. The day came all to quickly and we had to pack up and start our long drive back home. I was sad to leave, but it didn't really hit me how much I missed my big brother until we were in Montgomery, AL. I held back tears, which came unexpectedly, as I thought of when I would seem him and Lindsay next. I can't begin to say how thankful I am that they opened up their arms and home to us to celebrate the joyous holiday with them. I will always remember what fun time we had. I love my brother and his wife so much and am pleased to note that they are almost as cool as me! ;)
That concludes our Christmas of 2011! Love all of you and have a great new year!! (Hopefully you'll be hearing from me before the year is up)
Also, sorry there are no pictures, like I said I'm using my phone's internet so it's slow and if I tried to upload all the pictures I want then it would take me probably a few hours! I'll post them when I'm at a spot that has internet.

Is There Anyone Still Out There?
I must start by saying Vincent bought me a new computer! I can't believe it! The last time I've updated my blog was June 15th. JUNE 15h! That has been way too long!
Our computer broke while I was gone visiting family in Idaho and now we finally have a computer so I can update you! (If I have time) The holidays are coming and I'm going to be extremely busy with planning, cooking, shopping, giving, and traveling!
But for a quick update we've been doing our same old routine. Wake up, breakfast, get ready, school, play, lunch, nap (relaxing time for me) play, fix dinner, a little tv and then play and bedtime. (Vince is gone most of the day working. He works so hard and I'm so proud of him.) On Vince's day off all we do is play! Mostly frizbee golf (sp?) We're not so good at it, but we're definitely improving! Mya loves it too, it's a great family activity.
Sadly we're not going to be in Idaho for any of the holiday's festivities. We're spending Thanksgiving with some of my favorite people, Daneile and Chris. They've made living out here fun and eventful (Game nights mostly) For Christmas we're going to be traveling, but we'll be going somewhere we've never been: North Carolina. My brother and his PREGNANT wife (still so excited about that) are stationed out there and they won't be going home either. So in a phone conversation that took place in June, Mike and I planned to have our own Christmas celebration! I'm super excited and can't wait!
Well, that's it for now. I'll try to get pictures on here and see what I can do about updated y'all about our wonderful summer. (p.s. Mya is getting a slight southern accent with certain words! Ex. Hungry Mya ex. Huungray)
And now I will leave you with that super funny and cute story! Ta ta!

Three Is In Sight...
Mya's birthday is in sight! Vince and I have been out shopping for her and let me tell you it is so hard to pick just ONE toy! I wanted to get her soo many things, but Vince and I had decided before we got to the store that we would each pick out one toy for her. We had fun running around the store trying to decide on what would be the perfect present.
Today Mya and I went to the store with some friends and got her birthday party supplies. She decided on an Ariel theme, again. Last year was princess, but mostly Ariel. This year it will be just Ariel. Also this year we're expecting more than just one girl to show up :D Anything will be better than last year, hahaha!
I'll be posting her party and Amanda's stay. I had to just post about her birthday because I am so super excited that I'm acting like it's my own party! Maybe I'll have a princess party too! I mean who doesn't like princesses! Until next time...

Small Update
First I want everyone to know that as lonely as I've been, life has been happy! I'm no longer stressed about Mya. I will tell you why: I gave up! :) haha, I put her back in diapers and told her when she's ready to let me know. She still pees on the toilet, now I'm waiting for her to tell me she wants to poop on the toilet. All I care about is my relationship with her and since I've stopped putting so much stress on her and me we've been a lot happier and have been getting along much better. She's now the sweet little girl I used to know!
Vince has been hard at work and it has finally paid off! He got a raise and that takes off a bunch of stress off us! I'm so proud of him! Last night we had made little block hats with Mya's foam puzzle. We put them over our heads like a space helmet! We couldn't stop laughing! Vince couldn't get his off because his head is so big :)
Mya has been wanting to be a ballerina for some time now and her reward for becoming fully potty trained is to take ballet classes. I took a video of her dancing! I hope this works!
Here are some pictures from what's been going on here. Some are old and some are more recent. :) I'll definitely be posting Mya's birthday at the end of the month!

Lonely Out Here
Once again, it's been quite some time since I've posted anything. I haven't been in the best of moods lately. I've been homesick way bad and was rather jealous my husband was able to go visit home without me. :) Happy he could be there for his friend, sad I couldn't be there for mine.
Nothing exciting has happened since we moved in the apartment, still the same routine. Mya has been very cranky and I must admit I have been angry too :)
We're still working on the potty training and I'm proud to say that Mya has finally started pooping in the toilet! It's a very long and hard process, but she's getting better on going more often so if it takes us an hour of playing "the dinosaurs are coming!" I'll do it everyday rather than have my little one hurt and cry when she won't go for a whole week. Mya and I have a deal going on that if she goes five times with no accidents then we'll go and buy her a Rapunzel doll. She tells everyone, even strangers! We're on number four right now, but she's putting up a big fight for this last one :( Wish I could push a button and make her go.
We haven't seen much of Vince since he's gotten back. He's been hard at work. I must say as much as he stresses me out, I am very proud of him :) He's a good man and a good dad, couldn't ask for better if you want my opinion. ;) Still wonder to this day how he came to the conclusion that I was the one for him, beats me, but beyond glad! Yes, I had to boast for a minute on what an awesome, cool husband I have!
Mya's birthday is coming up and we're expecting Vince's little sis Amanda to come see us! Yay! We're looking forward to seeing her! Anyone else who wants to visit, please do! I'd love to show off where we live but most of all I'd love the company! haha
Nothing else to report, just living everyday the same pretty much. I'll try to get out more so I have something to post about :) I have taken some pictures on the projects Mya and I have been doing, I'll have to post them when I have my camera around me the same time I'm playing on the computer (which is rare)

Wonderful Friends
Mya has made a new friend, her name is Lore and she absolutely loves her! Of course it helps that Lore's mother is pretty cool too, so it's a win win! :) These girls are so cute to watch play!
Our New Home
This is our new home, at least for another year it is. It's so nice to be out and on our own! I haven't hung any pictures up yet, but I will. Mya loves the new apartment and is so excited when we're heading there. She says "Mya goes to her new home!" Super cute! Vince and I love it to and enjoy our nice quiet evenings watching Top Gear together.
This is when you first enter our house:
To your left is the living room:
And the to the right is the dining area and kitchen:
Here is our kitchen:
Mya's room is the first room on the left.
She has a giant closet that I'm super jealous of! Her and her friend Lore love to play in it! It's the perfect play house for the girls :)
This is Mya's bathroom, giant just like her closet. :) She gets excited when she needs to go pee because she can do it all by herself. Turn the light on and climb on her step stool. She can even wash her own hands!
Mine and Vince's bedroom. It's much bigger than the one we had before and it's bare because we don't have much furniture! :) Our closets are much tinier than Mya's and we wish they were bigger, but we're still so excited to have our own place that we don't care!
Our bathroom is perfect because it's only mine and Vince's, no one else! Can you tell I'm excited?!?!
Vistors are more than welcome!! :-D
